Jonah and I headed up Hatcher Creek to ski Big Jim on 5/25/20. Initially a steep trail with a fair amount of downed logs; impressive to see the extent of the burn from several years back. Transitioned to skis around 5800'. Largely stayed on the ridge system above Lake Augusta. Visibility prevented us from heading down the east aspect of Big Jim (Whittaker); just retraced our route in for the ski out. ~15mi, 6300'+/-.
