No thunder or lightning today, and we made it to the top.  This was our first time on the summit of Baker!  Wish the winds were calm on top so we could hang out a little longer.  What a great view!  The skiing is still good.  It's a little bumpy on the lower half of the Roman Wall were the crevasse funnels everyone skiers left.  The middle of the Squak was a little sticky from the new snow/rain?  Below the ice cliff at 6700' the snow turned fast again and the medium sized sun cups were fun to ski.  Skis back on our backs at 5200' beside the creek.  Never knew skiing in August could be so good 8)
