Preston and I decided to head north after Andy Martin's earlier post and avoid the I-5 cluster.  There still is snow to be had off Ptarmigan Ridge - similar to picture Andy Martin posted for the 5th.  The conditions were slightly firm and suncupped.  Our first run was slighly north of Coleman Pinnacle which was good for about 600ft.    Unfortunately, our trip was cut short due to equipment failure (I opted for a solid board today and binding strap broke on a 35 degree slope - not a good place to have one foot  freed from the board).   After a long slide for me which thankfully ended up with just cuts and bruises. we decided then to work our way back where we were able to squeeze another run in (duct tape to the rescue).  There we bumped into JP and TeleForever - good meeting you guys.  In the parking lot, a wedding party was gathering and working there way up to the top of Table Mtn for the ceremony.  Congratulations folks!
OUCH!!! Glad to hear you made it out with just some cuts and bruises!
