Ed from the WSTC and I headed to Blewett pass, in hopes of some sun breaks. We pulled in behind Pico and Margy from the Ellensburg ski club just as they were getting ready to head out. They ended up changing there plans and we skiied together. The snow was a mix of conditions -- some crust, some old powder on crust and even a bit of soft corn. Weather turned out better than predicted -- it clouded up a bit around lunchtime -- but then cleared to sun breaks rather than closing in as predicted.
