Hard to beat face shots in April. Conditions are very good above 4,500' near Stevens. The wind was blowing pretty hard out of the west Tuesday morning but the conditions were good in the trees - a bit upside down but still very skiable. Ski penetration was in the 50 cm range above 5000'.
