April 4, 2006, Big Crow Basin and Norse Peak

On Tuesday Me and a friend both snowshoed and Skinned up east peak which was a icy mess up into the saddle of the Basin lake bowl then Skinned out to the Big Crow basin and dropped a few lines in the Alpine bowl Riding into the Big Crow Basin..

The snow was fresh but slush the Northern aspects are hard and barely sinkable and the Southern aspects are soft slush all in all its a great area that very few people actually make it out to After that we went back up to the summit of Norse Peak and Dropped into the basin lake bowl

Then we skinned back to the top of East Peak and watched the sunset before dropping back down East peak Which was barely sinkable down to our car
