Decided to do a shorter day up at Alpental with a buddy. Met at the parking lot at 8am and got to the top of Chair 2 (Eidelweiss) at 10. Did one lap down international.
The first 1000ft of descent was really good snow with no sharks and very stable, but it was a crustfield the final 1000ft. Pretty good for the week before thanksgiving.
I'll echo above but skied down from top around Noon. Lot's of snow and fun turns upper half but really tough the lower half of the mountain.
