3/6 Snow Lake, Tunder Creek, Mt Snoqualmie

I spent Monday through Friday skiing in Canada, and drove all day Saturday, so what else was I to do with a day off but ski on Sunday! Todd and I thought we'd hammer out one more tour before the vacation ended. So we headed up to Snow Lake and skinned up the little unnamed peak directly east of Snow Lake, crossed over into the Thunder Creek Drainage climbing out the skin-track left by those who skied the slot.  We topped out Snoqualmie and headed down the shoulder towards Cave Ridge intending to ski into Commonwealth Basin, but skinned back up to ski the Phantom out after being spooked by slabby snow above cliffs on our way down to Cave Ridge.  Getting back to the Phantom was a little tricky and involved some spicy traversing through cliffs, but it all worked out.
