Skied 3 laps of cold consistent powder in the north facing old growth off Catherine yesterday. ECT 5' deep to solid thick buried crust layer yielded no results on a 40deg NNE under shaded canopy @ approximately 4500'. Only minor loose snow surface sluffing on steeper sections. Really good skiing, and spectacular views. Had the Mt to ourselves.
PSA: North facing shaded slopes are holding great snow right now.

Dang! All I needed yesterday was a nudge and I would've tipped away from work and into the snow. We could have had another drifter reunion. Glad you got out, Ed.
