After having our way with the Backside at Stevens and a few laps up Cowboy my friend, Stone and I broke out the splitboards and rode some goos shit across the highway. It was surreal looking down on all of the people scraping around at the ski area while we looked down a 1000 vert chute of pow. We rode a SW face and it was about 8-10 inches of fluff sitting on more firm windpack, just absolutely divine! The cold temps today made for some nice turns.
Goose shit? Is that a new term for powder?

We admired your turns on the drive down and wished we'd hit that slope. We did some laps to the east and found sweet snow also. Perfect sunny weather - cold air kept the snow crispy, but dead calm so we were climbing without jackets or gloves.
