Mt Adams SW Chutes

Does the SW Chute go this time of year? At least to some degree?

I heard yesterday was awesome in the SW chutes! ... If you had a time machine.

From October 4th a few years ago.

Skiing conditions were quite good this year on August 15 and 16.

With the snowfall last month, might have refreshed the surface, although to predict that.
And the new snow should have long since disappeared from the road.

It is certainly doable, but probably not very pleasant. The snowpack is looking pretty thin near the bottom.

When you save that image to your computer, you can zoom pretty far in on the SW Chutes while still preserving decent quality.
