The NY Times piece is really powerful. This quote sums it up:

If you get the chance, I would also suggest getting the Sunday paper, and reading it. It's a little late I know, but worth the effort to check it out. There are a few details that are not included in the online version.

Can't agree enough - one of the best print articles I can ever remember, conveying something that powerfully and utilizing everything available to do it. If that doesn't make it into every level 1 class presentation from now on I would be surprised - wow

Pretty powerful piece. The audio clip of the ski patrol and sheriff was a tearjerker. Also, the helmet cam clips added a lot.
