No. I wouldn't do what's depicted in the picture with my daughters either. They survived it seems, have you ever made bad decisions and survived?

those are great photos that speak volumes... they didn't venture there without concerns and preparation for safety. It's actually pretty difficult to get into mountaineering properly if you do not know where to go for advice and don't have a lot of money. Maybe they balked at the price of mountaineering equipment but wanted to experience that environment anyways. Based on the photo they visited an incredible environment that if its their only trip it will last a lifetime.
