LARGE avalanche in bounds at Mammoth

Just saw this on the NBC Nightly News. The grainy video showed an impressive crown as well as several rows of people probing. Haven't found any photos on the 'net yet but here's a story about it:

Not sure if it's blasphemous to link to another backcountry skiing site where most folks only ply their tools 9 months out of the year but, through the help of a friend, I came across a thread on that site about the slide at Mammoth.
