Gnarly Alpental area tracks: who skied that????

Crabtree did do the highway jump. Aplental has been my home base since 1970. I'm still friends with Keith's brother Clark here in North Bend and we've talked about the highway jump along with the good old wild days in the Alpental valley. Keith and Clark built a jump on the East bound tunnel approaching the summit.

Oh my f-ing gawd!!!!! <br><br>That "eat shit and die" "run" is suuuuuper gnarly. <br><br>I'm kinda pleased that the rider is a snowboarder. The riders narrative on the second page of the thread is pretty good too -- almost sure he's in the right place, and pretty sure he could hikeout after a few turns. But if not the case he's really screwed, probably dead. So he goes ...

I saw the tracks in chute and thought, "Awesome." Then i saw the tracks on the face and thought, "WTF." I had to put on my glasses for that one. Pretty wild line. Wasn't sure I was seeing things on that face until now.
