Boot Recommendations for Narrow Feet was created by Pete_H
Time to get new boots. I've been on the Maestrale RS for the last few seasons and they fit ok. Seems like most boots these days are advertising a wider fit. I have low volume feet, especially in my ankles and calves. Anyone else have similar issues and recommendations for boots to try on? Thanks in advance!

I'm not a boot guru but I heard a review the other day that mentioned the Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD as being a narrow boot.

X2 on the Atomic Hawx XTD.
It is narrower in the forefoot (98mm) and especially around the ankle and lower leg (cuff circumference) than anything else on the market. It doesn't have the greatest range of rearward motion in tour mode, but skis exceptionally well in my experience, and is quite light (less than the Maestrale RS).

Thanks. I hadn't considered those. I'll take a look.

Atomics are at 7 lbs/pair.
On the other end of the AT weight spectrum is the Alien RS.
99mm last.

I tried on the Backland Carbon, the Atomic equivalent of the Alien I guess, and they fit awesome and felt surprisingly stiff. They are a little less of a boot than I was looking for though. The hawk 130 on the other hand iis a little bit more of a boot than I need since I'm looking for a boot just to tour in.
