conductance tape for finger use on touchscreens

I've come up empty in my search for a roll of "conductance tape" that I can apply to my gloved fingertips for use on cell phone touchscreens.  Since touchscreen functionality rely on electrical current from your finger tips, it is not possible for a gloved finger (where the glove is an insulator) to gain function from a cell phone's touchscreen.  I've purchased a glove liner where the vendor sewed a small piece of conducting-material into the finger tip -- but the sew job is weak and promptly is blown out during a day on the hill.

Of course I can always take off my gloves and use my fingers, but often it is a tad chilly out. So, apart from the selfish convenience of keeping my fingers warm, I'm thinking that in an emergency where precious seconds count it would be very helpful to use my smartphone with a gloved finger.

Thoughts on where to acquire such adhesive fabric?

Thanks,
Jim

No but OR are currently selling some gloves( thin, skinning gloves) that are specifically designed to work with touch screens.
See here.

I was given then to try and didn't have to buy them so the $85 might be a bit steep IMO.

However they work as advertised although there is a problem with the leather bleeding color when they get wet and making my hands all black.

Other than that, they are a fine pair of skinning gloves.

It does seem like all the gloves that have touch screen fingertips are thin.

If you wanted to put them on a warmer glove, you could find a cheap pair with decent touch screen fingers, harvest the fingertips, and sew them on to your winter gloves.

Maybe not ideal, but it could work.

I carry a severed finger with me so I can use my iPhone w/o taking gloves off. I took It from someone who poached my line. It gets kinda stinky if I don't keep it in the freezer between trips

www.refrigiwear.com/Gloves/id-0227/Touch...★★★ ;

$7.00.

Bought a -20 degree cold temp glove here for 22.00 - excellent quality.  We're paying too much for stuff / labels.

I recently discovered that wetting the finger tip on my regular ski gloves seems to offer conductivity with the touch screen on my iPhone. Discovered this on the last "wet" storm cycle. The problem is accuracy when trying to text, however I was able to navigate around though most functions just fine...
