Sad day for NW weather forecasting

Just read the NWAC forecast for today and I am sad to see that Mark Moore will not be a regular forecaster any Moore. His wit and detail really gave me a sense of what the hell was going on with something that is way too complex for my small brain to figure out. He has taught me and many others so much over the years and I just wanted to thank him for everything he has done for those of us who like to play in avalanche terrain....Thank you Mark!

Was he the only one responsible for the amusing poems every so often?  Those were always great.

Thanks Mr Doober, for starting this....Mr Moore is one of my personal hero's and it is sad and happy all at once. I do expect to see him floating through the powder, deep in the trees, in a VERY stormy twilight, rhyming his woohoo's and glancing over his shoulder to make sure we're all right. POW! Thanks Mark!
