database of posts on TAY was created by ErikT
I have an odd request if anyone has some database / TAY knowledge. I'm putting together a few fun datasets to practice linear regression models with. I thought it might be interesting to look at TAY post frequency mashed up with new / total snowfall, temperature, day of week etc...
If anyone has an easy way to output the date and number of TAY posts (or just a big long list of posts with dates) I'd be much appreciative! I'll make sure to share my useless but perhaps somewhat interesting results.

Try sending a PM to Amar Andalkar. I remember he posted some stats on who was posting to TAY few years ago.
I tried searching for the post on Google but could not find it.
There might have been something wrong with Google, it could not find lots of TAY posts. For example
site:http://www.turns-all-year.com amar+andalkar
returned only nine results, which is a very truncated record of Amar's postings here.
Anyway he will have some good info on how to query the server. Other than that get a PHP expert.
It is also a good idea to ask the site owners for permission first.
Looking forward to your findings.

Interestingly Bing returns 430 results for the same query: site:www.turns-all-year.com amar+andalkar

Thanks Marcus. I missed that thread obviously. Good luck fixing it!
On a positive note the TAY Search function worked very well, that is how I found the post in the end.
I do remember using it last year and it did not find what I was looking for, but Google did.
Now the tables turned.
Thanks for all the hard work you put into the site!
