Got Claws?

First they were called "Ramer Claws" named after the innovative chap that invented them.
Then Life-Link got license to make them and they were called "Life-Link Claws".
Then Garmont bought Life-Link and they were called "Garmont-Life-Link Claws"... that was until Garmont quit making them.
Last Sunday, when I stopped to drop off my ski buddy and her prized "Claw" ski poles, to discover that the tailgate to my truck had fallen open during the trip home from Paradise, they were called "GONE".
An extra trip to Paradise and back produced two sore necks, two pairs of strained eyes, and no poles ???.
Many have lamented the idiosyncrasies of the Claws and their finicky twist lock Life-Link poles; but other folks adore them, particularly when topped with Claws... and my this particular ski partner may be their greatest fan.
So as you might guess, right now I'm not feeling quite as cool as my usual cool self :
I have some new Life-Link poles on order, but, of course the Claws are about as plentiful as hen's teeth.
So if you have any that you're willing to part with or know of where there might be some, regardless of condition, I'd be beholden for any leads or assists you might be able to steer my way.
Thanks.

Can't help but think "what a great opportunity to drag ron through the weeds a bit".
Yeah, I think that's how I managed to lose the poles :So, did you account for the Gaper potential?
What makes you think they were actually in the truck?
Only because they were not there when we got home and we drove all the way back up there to look for them :-[
I checked in with a PS Ranger doing his last patrol of the road.Checked with L and F, non?
Possible, but unlikely.Maybe the tailgate was never up.
The truck has a vinyl bed liner. A sack of cement would slide out of it with the talegate open.Kinda rare for something to slide out even with the gate down, though.
Been known to... but didn't.Tell me you didn't stop for a beer in Tweakerville - with the tailgate down and aluminum ( 30 cents/lb) in obvious sight..
You are quite wise. I have an old set of the original Ramer push button poles which are considering cannibalizing.I see blacksmithing in your future..
