heh awesome, I was just out of the frame up there when your buddy flew by. he looked like he was having quite a bit of fun up there.

Probably so, FWB. I don't know his exact route that day, except that he left Arlington and flew up to the Canadian border then east into the North Cascades, and by some route back to Arlington - a frequent return route has been down the spine toward Darrington then west across Whitehorse and back to base.
Hey Sam, if you know who the skiers were, let's see if we can hookup the two camera guys - emails or something. PM me if you have any info. Thanks !

That's interesting, I had no idea a glider was capable of staying in the air so long and predictably. Sounds like it's a given that the pilot will be able to stay aloft over the N. Cascades, that conditions support this.
I'm curious to learn more. Can you post a picture of the plane- maybe the Baker return shot when you get it?

Sorry, I have no idea who those skiers are nor did I have time to get out my own camera to snap a return shot. Your friend did a pretty quick flyby
