Portland Trail Runs, Tuesday Nights

Ski season is coming up and I would like to get some skiers together to do some trail running so the  legs will be ready when the snow starts to fall.  Hopefully this could become a regular event, but to start I am proposing to meet on Tuesday nights this October at the Thurman Gate in Forest Park at 5:45pm.  This way we can start on Leif Erickson and loop through some trails before coming back.  Let me know if people are interested, then I will have a better idea of who to look for.  Pray for snow!

Yeah I'd be interested. Just moved to Portland, looking for people to run and ski with and I really dig Forest Park. I'll have a long sleeve black top and bright green shorts, and my name's Jonny see you there!

We had a great run last night on the Wildwood trail in the rain.  Fun times running trails and talking about skiing.  Now that we started a skier's running meet up it needs to grow.  If you want to come run some trails and get psyched for skiing come join.  If you are interested please let me know, we may eventually have to change locations now that it is getting darker earlier.  Or start bringing a headlamp.

Tuesday was an awesome run, if not a little wet! Would love to get a bigger group going so we can plan and scheme our winters while running some great trails. Also, bring a Hawaiian shirt and come to Rogue Brewery afterwards, first beer is free on Tiki Tuesdays!
