Huge avalanche/rockfall on Rainier?

Browsing the web cams this morning. Looks big.

At first look I thought the johns up at Muir has finally exploded.
Good eye. That's pretty big debris.

Looks like that might signify the end of the Nisqually Ice Cliff descents for the year?

Looked more than just a rockfall; appeared to have have quite a liquid component to it. As shown in the picture it ran quiet a way. We heard lots of noise today (but couldn't spot anything); sounded like large rock and ice fall. Lots of big crevasses opening up and lots of big rock becoming exposed even though the snow depth is still quite deep. They closed the upper Disappointment Cleaver route today after a climber fell 30 feet into a crevasse when the snow bridge right after the ledge collapsed (broke his leg).

My wife and I noticed the same while on top of Unicorn today.  Just checked the Rainier blogspot but no word on it yet...
