Gondola: how do you say it? was created by Keith_Henson
I thought I knew how the word "gondola" is pronounced. But maybe not...

dictionary.weather.net/audio.php?file=go...02&word=gondola&text

As I have heard others doing, I just watched the latest Crystal video update where I again heard it pronounced, "gon-dooool-ah" with the second syllable emphasized and drawn out. Is it more correct or hipper that way rather than than the way I have heard it up until recently? Is it a regional thing?

Still can. The World's Fair gondola is, I'm almost positive, alive and well at the Puyallup Fair.
