Paradise glacier knit hat ?

Robie, I assume you checked the immediate location of the hat for further clues.  The boot impressions would clearly have identified the presence of the Spademark fitting, and thus be helpful toward returning the hat to its' rightful owner..

I guess I was blinded by the potential booty. Perhaps I should have searched further?

Nothing quite that garish. Someone refined with good taste was wearing this hat .

Was it a solid light blue and hand knit hat?  I took a series of nasty tumbles across from cowlitz rock and lost it in some deep heavy snow.
