A nod to Sturtevants boot fitters was created by Marcus
Just wanted to give a nod to Zack(h?) at Sturtevants for doing a bang-up job of repairing the poorly done liner-cooking I did earlier in the year. It was my first experience getting boot work done out there and they seem as good as everyone's been saying.
Plus I got to play with the new Glenn Plake-designed Virus AT boot -- sexy beast that it is...

Only because they're bright green...
Though I did pick up a pair of $50 old Dynafit TLT-700s that I'm taking to Kokanee for some comic relief.
We cooked 'em at home in a hurry, a couple of days before our Argentina trip. It was a necessary evil.

Is this an authorized advertisement?
The guys at Sturtevants in Tacoma do a fine job also!
FYI to all....
Martin Rand is no longer working at Bellevue Sturtevants, not sure what his plans are for his future bootfitting, but he sure is awesome and a great guy.

Heh -- I got permission
And of course, I'm not getting paid.
Martin! That was the name of the guy that Pete had talked about. I've been to Jim Mates in Ballard and had good experiences there, but Sturtevants did a great job at a great price.
