Sustained winds in the 60s, gusts to 127 mph right now at Hurricane Ridge!
And in the past week there were two other days with gusts over 100.

Was told that around 2:00 pm the road to Hurricane Ridge washed out!!!!! Hope my friend is messing with my mind, but if not could be the end of the season at HR : (

Hopefully it will be a quick fix.

I've never been a religious person, but perhaps its time to start praying. Its a long day if us PA folks have to hike to snow.

The website says 1/4 mile before HotH campground but after lake dawn road...doesn't seem like there's a whole lot of road to wash out through that area.

Apparently about 20' of roadway is completely washed away.
I wouldn't expect to see that repaired too soon.

Perhaps the park can be convinced to open the road to Blue Mt. in the meantime.
That would be a good consolation.

Damn, guess it's time to start riding the mountain bike again ; )
