Baker closed Saturday ...

... due to exreme avalanche danger.  I do not know where they will close the road, but does it matter?

They may be concerned about the Excelsior slide path Tim, so the road may be closed down low. I guess we wont see you guys out there tomorrow!

Basically, sh**s f**d up. Pretty much all of the N-C cascade ski areas are on closed/limited operations tomorrow. NWAC is claiming extreme, which doesn't happen very often. I don't care if it's your weekend, this is one of those where it's worth finding something else to do.

Can someone please start a rumour that Crystal will be closed on Saturday as well.
If not, there are going to be huge crowds and I don't want to share because I am a brat!

the only reason crystal is gonna be open is because the don't get nearly the snow other NW areas do

It's a bummer Baker is closed... wonder what this does to the Banked Slalom and all that fish they usually cook up.
