Snoqpass - very cool pic with really nice annotation. Thanks for posting.

Jack - I believe that's what the Aspect refers to - 60 deg would be E NE. Sounds like this crown was just above the Great Scott traverse at Alpy. Its a pretty well traveled spot.

oh right, i was thinking 60 degree slope for some reason, but it says 40 on the other side. thanks.

It's not very well-traveled so far this year; they haven't opened the high traverse once. Now we can all see why....

has ski the ski patrol been opening the low traverse? or has the low one been closed all season too?
