Hyak Telefest?

I saw something somewhere about a Telefest at Hyak; but can't find it again- anyone know anything about it?

I just heard about it, sounds like a party on snow....perfect for some of us TAY'ers.

Cascade Freeheel Fest 2007 is a PNW grass-roots gathering to celebrate the Spring snow, telemark, randonee and backcountry skiing. The event has been created by skiers for skiers to promote the fellowship, climate, fun, skill and knowledge of freeheel and backcountry skiing.
General socializing all day at the Old Milwaukee Lodge at the base of the hill.

9:00-11:30 Morning Clinics
11:00 Skin and Ski Race (Skin up, ski down)by OR
11:30-1:00 BBQ Cookout Lunch
1:00-3:00 Afternoon Clinics
1:30-2:00 Costume Mass Ski
4:30-7:00 Food, ;Beer and Party at Old Milwaukee Lodge!!

Glad to hear us fixed-heelers are welcome.     Can splitboarders come play too?  ... this one splitter friend of mine (non-TAYer) might be interested.   Yeah this sounds like a lotta fun, I'll be there fer sure, pending decent weather ... was tempted to go to Vertfest, but the weather looked iffy and, more so, this just sounds better, anyway.. more grassroots and less hoopla.  

There was a split boarder at the Crystal race- much braver then me (I used to have a split board). I'm sure John Roberts, Hyak Manager, won't descriminate against the board heads. The big thing for the boards will be transition time- the skiers can get it down it seconds.

How much vertical are we talking?
