The Flett will need 2 feet of fresh to cover all the boulders on it this year &gt;<br><br>The FL was at 10000ft or so yesterday - it came down a bit, but I bet there isn't a whole lot of fresh below that...

Hopefully it'll snow a lot this weekend, and the forecast for next week will be wrong. I'm getting seriously anxious, depressed, and obsessive by now.<br><br>Don't they make a pill for this?

I can verify the five inches of water after backpacking out for 5 or 6 hours near Mt. Baker on Thursday. I've never....never been out on such a wet day, except with a certain Mr. Skoog about 30 years ago to Triumph Pass - an eight hour bushwhack out it was.<br><br>Same Thursday, but not bushy. Still, no hurry and no worry. In an hour or so, you get about as wet as you are likely to get; so, hey, might as well relax and enjoy the blueberries (which were astounding) and the fall colors (equally amazing).

The forecast discussion said that last Wednesday was likely to be the "warmest day until next spring", so I did a hike near Snoqualmie Pass. I was amazed at how dry everything was, no doubt changed by now. I can verify that both the fall colors and the blueberries were astounding in this area as well - I came back with about 12 cups of blueberries for the family to enjoy.
