Was overcast, with the sun kind of peeping through. Unfortunately, groomers only. The groomers were pretty good. Lots of screaming top to the bottom stuff. Nothing was icy bad, you could get an edge in everywhere we went. As usual the backside had the soft snow. There were lots of smiles on the mountain from the skiers to the lifties.  There were no lift lines anywhere.

I ran into Avajane at the bottom of the Jupiter chair.  It was nice to put a face to a name and to share some stories.

And great to see you! Today was a nice day on the groomers! The way things went,  I got to ski first and second track fresh grooms and then the sun made an appearance and softened a bit and gave good light! My lift mate was resting up for the big night, so I got to ski much more than normal. The afternoon was like a mini Whistler where you get 3-4 types of snow in one run! Firm, edgeable, cornish, good slush…
