Mission Ridge - 4/23

I could have skied Mt. Baker, but instead I made the drive to Mission Ridge to get some more skiing under mostly sunny skies and snow that was not too sticky!

I saw you up there Donnelly as you skied under the lift. I don't think anyone was having as much fun as you yesterday.

It is my liberation from the daily hell I experience living in Bellingham.

We tried to root out the back woods folks but there were just too many of them. I wouldnt say it has changed, just kinda morphed into what it always has been. Buncha backwoods nonDonelly annunciators.

What really surprises people while skiing is when I mention to them I live in Bellingham and tell them I ski at Stevens, Alpy, or Mission instead of Baker. lol  Baker has lots of awesome terrain, but lacking ski buddies up in this area limits me to either touring or the limited terrain in the area itself due to their mandatory BC buddy policy, hence why I prefer the other areas to get adequate ski mileage in for the season.  Plus, I am also wanting to get into to alpine GS and downhill ski racing, so Mission and Stevens seem like more viable options for training.
