Chair 1 had a rain crust off the groomers from 3700' down. Some nice 6-8" powder on a firm base above that. Chair 2 opened around 10 to the small crowd and all backcountry ( even Snakedance) stayed closed until we finished several fresh 15" deep powder laps in Breakover trees and Shot 6, maybe never opened?  Tomorrow may be good for dry hydro therapy. Duh.

What was open sure was sweet. I scheduled myself a "meeting" all morning and had a really hard time deciding to go back to work for the afternoon.

Snake dance and elevator opened around noon to much applause. It was my Favorite day in a long time. The crust battle downlow was worth all the fresh up top.

worth every crust breaking turn to get back to the chair and find more of the chalky goodness higher up.

Logged 20k night skiing. Best night skiing I've had in years. Clear, cold, and virtually no one on the mountain. People must have to work to make up for those snow days last week. Wish I could have been there during the day.......
