Wow, it was great! Off the hook deep in areas. The goods kept on delivering and folks were grinning ear to ear. Chair two line was long. Nash was superb. Lower mountain silky soft.
Talked with a friend who was there yesterday as well and he said it was nearly empty with just the local snow bandits and DEEP.

Ski-on lifts at Central/Silver Fir all day; untracked deep turns consistently available to the observant. Today's snow came in heavier and slabbier; easy cracking and sluffing in the top ~6" by 3pm. Wind action driving free refills of windbuff in the open in the afternoon.

I suspect they closed it as a safety call. Heard something about a slide on shot 4. I left around 1:30 to get home and hit the books for an exam tomorrow.

Where is shot 4? I only only know 6 & 8 but there must be others. Almost everything had some form of a crack on it (if it was undisturbed on the ski area). Only about a few inches thick but I'm sure that was growing over the day. It was bitterly cold too at the top section of Armstrong chair.
