Man there was too many people there, more than at the peak of this season. I got there at 9, and lot 1 and 2 where already full, I kind of managed to make a spot by creakside, figured I'd check out the snow. Anyway, took me an hour and half to get to the top of chair 2. The snow was great, but the lines were impossible. I took one run down, went through the elevator gate only to find that the shaft had more people on it than upper international, including people who didn't know where they were going asking for directions.

That makes me feel even better about my decision to go to Crystal and skiing a few runs with the dog instead of braving the crowds at Alpental.

So much for the "ran out of people" excuse. I wonder what percentage are buying day tickets?
I heard a rumor that staying open longer is out of the question due to insurance issues...

Can't really blame people for wanting the super deep. Especially when it was so fluffy and nice.

Looks like they will be open 2 more weekends. In my view this has been at least the 2nd best season of my life (possibly trailing only '98-'99). Is it the best ever?

Alot of day tickets were sold. staying open later is a possibility, stay tuned. The profit center was in full swing last weekend.
