Sounds like today was better. We got a late start and made it up Pan Point easily with ski crampons. Kept crampons on until above Pebble Creek, then it was great gliding to camp and no crampons needed...

Sort of an aside, but the B&D ski leashes are great, easy to use, engineered to break in an avalanche but not from stopping a ski.

We did it on Sunday (6/2), and it seemed like the snow was getting a bit firmer and more stable. Skiied very nicely in the morning, by the afternoon it was sticky but not sloppy. Cut one sluff coming...
