Thanks for the post. It convinced me to give it a go on Sunday. Skiied from the top of Steamboat Prow with blue skies, little wind and nice snow.
This was quite a hike/ski. A fair amount of walking for a brief bit of skiing. Even though the the skiing portion was short, it was quite sporting. Just enough to make the walking worth it.Lowel...
This was a very good trip with good company. A lot of people on the mountain over the weekend. Surprising that knowone else was skiing the route. Conditions were exceptional.
