We saw the same conditions from the other side of the valley below Kendall Lakes - NW aspect at 4100 ft. Almost 50 inches of unconsolidated storm snow. Much more than the telemetry suggest...
Agree with Jason4 - only saw the one crack up near the summit ridge. We brought glacier gear, but ended up just being dead weight.
I agree with dandedj - when we got a visibility window, the skiing was excellent from 7000'! Went back up for another lap, but it got socked in on the way down.
