What is Turns All Year CD-ROM?
Turns All Year CD-ROM is a photographic celebration of year round backcountry skiing and snowboarding in the Pacific Northwest. With over 3900 photos from backcountry trips, the CD-ROM is a useful visual resource for explorers of the snowy mountains. Backcountry skiers and snowboarders, and hikers and climbers too, can use the CD-ROM to research their next backcountry trip or simply to gain inspiration for new mountain adventures.
Turns All Year CD-ROM contains a web site of photo galleries, each from a specific backcountry trip in the Pacific Northwest. The photos in each gallery are presented in chronological order, creating a photo documentary of the trip. Approach, booting, skinning, terrain, and lots of skiing and snowboarding action photos! Photo galleries can be reached in multiple ways: from lists and clickable maps, and by searching. The CD-ROM also includes slideshows, mountain panoramas, and large format wallpaper photo galleries.
The CD-ROM runs on both Windows or Macintosh computers, using a standard internet browser. An internet connection is not required.
